The doctor at the Budapest Military Hospital said that between 30 and 50 covid patients go to the emergency department of his institution every day, which is a “surprisingly high number”.
On Tuesday afternoon, 238 coronavirus patients were treated at the two Hungarian Defense Forces sites, 33 of them were hooked up to a ventilator, he said.
The doctor also drew attention to the fact that those who are hospitalized with a coronavirus do not mainly need drugs, they are “fighting for air.” They are in a very serious condition, he added.
