A second degree warning has been issued for Csongrád-Csanád County as a long lasting tin shower is expected. At the moment, only the first instance warning applies to Baranya, Bács-Kiskun, Békés and Hajdú-Bihar counties. At night, in the south and southeast, tin rain can continue, mainly in Bács-Kiskun and Csongrád-Csanád counties, and then further north in the morning, in Békés and Hajdú-Bihar counties. In some places, a few tenths of a millimeter can accumulate, in some places more than 1 millimeter.

In addition to the tin shower, meteorologists also warned of snowfall in Baranya, Somogy and Zala counties, while in Baranya, Somogy and Veszprém counties they raised the alarm for the danger of a snow blizzard. It is written that a maximum of 5 centimeters of melted, wet and sticky snow is expected for the night, especially in southern Transdanubia. The increasingly intense and strong northeast wind can bring snow to places in Bakony, in southern Transdanubia.

Accidents have already occurred in several places on snowy and slippery roads, for example three cars collided on the M5 motorway, on the edge of Kecskemét. A car with a Romanian license plate was heading towards Szeged when it turned and collided with two other cars. A total of eight passengers traveled in the three vehicles, fortunately no one was injured. In any case, the authorities warn road users.
