Young men murdered in Ferencváros on suspicion of murder killed with rubber bullets

Budapest detectives questioned and detained a 20-year-old man and his partner, suspected of having trouble Wednesday night with the 19-year-old. John B. stabbed with a knife. The young man suffered such serious injuries that he died at the scene.

According to the investigation, the 19-year-old was involved in a dispute with János B. and K. Antal, 21, over a previous dispute in front of a Telepy Street condo. During the discussion, the 19-year-old pulled out a rubber bullet pistol and fired multiple shots at John B. and his partner, then fled to a condo.

János B. and Antal K. followed the man up the stairs, where János B. stabbed him with a knife, then kicked and hit him several times with his partner K. Antal. The two men then fled the scene and were captured near the scene by Budapest investigators within minutes.

Investigators from the Life Protection Department of the Budapest Police Headquarters interrogated János B., 20, and K. Antal, 21, on well-founded suspicions of murder, and initiated their arrest after their arrest.
