It has been more than 20 years since the King of the country’s music, Zámbó Jimmy, lost his life. His death has been shrouded in a great deal of uncertainty, mystery, and theory ever since, but they seem to have neither an ending nor a duration.
The latest theory was brought out by Darido’s host, Galambos Lajcsi, writes Blikk.
Darido’s host organized a national tour, to which he invited Jimmy and Edda frontman Attila Pataky as artists. However, over time, more and more conflicts arose between the two pipers.
The controversy arose from the fact that at the end of one of the concerts, Attila wanted to say goodbye to the public, since Miskolc is his hometown, but Jimmy knew that he would put the crown on the party that ended the show, so he did not want let it go. In a matter of moments, the mood turned edgy, especially since Jimmy even spoke to Attila from the stage, Lajcsi said at the 2012 Frisbee.
The scandal broke out during the show’s break: they rushed into the funny musician’s dressing room to hurry because
Zambó drew his pistol backstage and Pataky stood in front of him. Lajcsi took the gun and told them to end the discussion.
Star magazine contacted Jimmy’s mother, as the family has not spoken on the matter until now.
It seems silly to me to make up this story from time to time. No one knew my son better than I did, and I have no doubt that he could have shot anyone. I’m sure if that happened, my son only acted on a friend’s joke because he wouldn’t have been able to get rid of the lives of others. I don’t want to hurt Lajos either, but when it occurred to him, it really ruined my son’s memory.
