In the northwestern counties we can expect ragged and thinner clouds, elsewhere predominantly overcast skies. In the southeastern and eastern part of the country, significant amounts of rain, showers, snowfall and snow can be expected in the mountains. Starting at night, the clouds will decrease from the west, and will fall more and more only in Trans-Tisza and Northeast counties, in these landscapes the sky will be cloudy in the morning.

At night, fog and patches of fog can form in less cloudy landscapes. Rainfall will also stop in the eastern border area on Friday morning. There, the clouds are falling and, as in the rest of the country, the sun shines for at least a few hours. On Thursday, the wind from the north, northwest and Friday, the south and southwest will increase in several places.

The lowest night temperature will be between minus 4 and plus 5 degrees, it will be colder in Transdanubia. The highest temperatures during the day are expected between 4 and 10 degrees on Friday.

According to the national medium-term forecast from the National Weather Service, changeable but mild weather is expected on the first weekend of the new year. It can also be sunny, but you also need to be prepared for cloudy skies and rain. At the moment the air does not cool, during the day the peaks are around 10 degrees.

Rainfall will also stop in the eastern border area on Friday morning. In Transylvania and the northeastern counties, the clouds are thinning and, as in the rest of the country, the sun shines for at least a few hours. The wind is picking up in various places. In the coldest hours the temperature is between minus 4 and plus 5, during the day it is between 4 and 10 degrees.

Variable clouds with more or less sun are expected on Saturday. It grows in the late afternoon in the southwest, in the west it can be cloudy, at night it can also rain. The movement of the air will be lively, in some places strong. The minimum temperature is likely to be between minus 2 and plus 3 degrees. Daytime highs range from plus 5 to 12 degrees. It will be cooler in the north and milder in the southeast.

On Sunday, the clouds will continue to grow from the southwest, thickening. At first there may be short periods of days in the northeast, then in the southwest, in the south. Rains and showers are expected in various places in Transdanubia and elsewhere. The wind will be strong in some places. The lowest temperature is likely to be between minus 2 and plus 4, and the highest temperature is usually between plus 3 and 9 degrees. In southeastern and eastern landscapes it can be 10 to 12 degrees in some places.
