Sama Abdulhadi, Palestine’s first techno DJ, was arrested Monday for holding dozens of people at a party near Jericho at a building known as Nabi Musa, reported albawaba.com.

Many Palestinian Muslims believe that the holy place where the festival took place is the burial place of the Prophet Moses. However, the document indicates that there is no historical evidence of this, however, the authorities were questioned by the Palestinian Muslims who had previously been enraged on social media over the party.

Organizers of the party say they have asked for and received permission to use the venue, but the Palestinian Ministry of Tourism denies this. The site was said to be supervised by the Ministry of Religion. An investigation has been ordered into the case. According to information from the newspaper, hundreds of people attended the party.

Sama Abdulhadi is considered a pioneer of the Palestinian regional underground scene. He performed on Boiler Room, France 24, and in 2019 contributed to BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix.
