The Siófok District Prosecutor’s Office has prosecuted a 30-year-old woman in Budapest for committing violent violence against a person performing public functions, according to the prosecution’s statement.
The defendant and his partner traveled by train on the Nagykanizsa-Budapest line in October 2019, when the guide asked for their ticket in the Zamárdi area. Since none of them had it, the victim asked them to exchange the ticket for an additional cost or to get off at the Siófok train station, according to the statement.
However, the accused and his partner did not want to comply with the landing call, so the guide said that he would call a policeman for the next station. The two ticketless passengers got mad at this, began to scold the guide, and then when he turned his back on them to call a police officer,
the woman kicked the victim.
The defendant only forcibly made his situation worse, as the police not only left him on the train, but also took him to the Székesfehérvár Police Headquarters for committing a crime, reports the Siófok District Prosecutor’s Office.
In its indictment filed with the Siófok District Court, the prosecution filed a motion to impose a suspended prison sentence on defendants with no criminal record.
