Coronavirus: the second wave, the second closure

Later than expected by many, but in mid-November, the Hungarian government also decided to try to curb the second wave of the coronavirus epidemic by introducing restrictions. At the time of the decision, 5,000 new infections a day had been identified and the number of deaths from the virus mostly ranged from 50 to 100 in 24 hours. The first step is a partial closure, but how effective it is is questionable. Follow our news!

The second coronavirus was also given to an elderly British woman who was vaccinated for the first time with the Pfizer / Biontech vaccine. BBC. Margaret Keenan, 91, a former British Health Service (NHS) employee, received her first dose on December 8.

The second vaccine is necessary because two doses of vaccine are needed to achieve complete immunity. The basis for the vaccination was developed by a Hungarian biochemist, Katalin Karikó, with her fellow scientist.

The Pfizer / Biontech vaccine has so far been given to 600,000 people in the UK, initially in hospitals alone, and has since been vaccinated in GP surgeries and social services.
