The plane took off on Tuesday, bringing antigen tests from Beijing to Budapest.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade has acquired an Airbus 330 cargo plane, Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó announced on Facebook.

Szijjártó justified the purchase so that we could get the necessary equipment for defense faster. He also said the plane took off on its first trip today, flying from Budapest to Beijing. After landing, a million and a half antigen tests will be loaded on board, with which the plane will return and arrive in the capital tomorrow night.

The factory list price for the new A330-200F aircraft is $ 241.7 million, based on Airbus’ 2018 price list.

The portal later wrote that the plane was not operated by the Army but by Wizz Air. According to Flightradar, the plane heading to Beijing belongs to Wizz Air, but is owned by the Hungarian government.
