Linde Gáz Magyarország Zrt. Assisted the disaster management authority in the delivery of the vaccine. On Friday, December 25, the company received a request to deliver the first shipment of the Pfizer / BioNTech coronavirus vaccine at -70 degrees.

According to the company, the transport of the vaccine, which requires special treatment, can be solved with the help of dry ice, containers equipped with special sensors and ventilated vehicles specifically suitable for the delivery of medicines. Thanks to Linde’s dry ice production capacity and technological background, it was able to provide the entire supply chain for the task.

Linde Gáz, with the support of the police and disaster management authority, delivered the coronavirus vaccine from the South Pest Central Hospital to the four designated vaccination sites:

to the National Institute of Pulmonology of Korányi

to the Department of Pulmonology, Semmelweis University (SOTE)

to Gyula Kenézy University Hospital in Debrecen

to the Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County Hospital in Nyíregyháza.

Through hard work in recent weeks, the company has prepared everything to be able to deliver vaccines to vaccination centers in the right conditions, as well as ensure a continuous supply of dry ice for ultra-low temperatures.
