The coronavirus (Covid-19) infection was detected in another 1,198 Hungarian citizens on Saturday, increasing the number of infected people in Hungary to 315,362.
This means that the number of deaths has increased again compared to the previous days, which has thus increased to 8,951 people, reported koronavirus.gov.hu.
The number of people recovered increased by 2,493 to 126,482, while the number of actively infected people decreased by 11,413 to 179,929. 18 percent of the actively infected, 20 percent of the dead and 20 percent of those recovered are from Budapest. A total of 6,003 coronavirus patients are being hospitalized, three less than a day earlier, 468 of them on a ventilator, 21 fewer than the data from Friday morning.
Meanwhile, as we wrote, the first shipment of the Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine arrived in Hungary.
