Jair Bolsonaro is very proud of his military past.

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro is preparing for a parachute jump with some of his ministers. This was announced on his Facebook page by a 65-year-old politician proud of his military past.

“We are planning a parachute jump here in the city of Brazil from January to the beginning of February. I would like to remember my happy years of service with the paratroopers,” Bolsonaro said. He added that he had invited military members of his cabinet to the event. In this context, he mentioned, among others, the Minister of Defense, Fernando Azevedo e Silva, the Chief of Staff Eduardo Pazuello and the Chief of Staff Luiz Eduardo Ramos.

He also said that the joint jump, which strengthens the spirit of command, is planned for a day off so that no one has to leave office. He added that they plan to jump from the deck of a KC-390 military transport plane manufactured by the Brazilian company Embraer.

Bolsonaro, who graduated from the Agulhas Negras Military Academy in 1977, served in the Army’s artillery and parachute units. He was dissolved with the rank of captain in 1988.
