On FridayOn the first day of Christmas the sky will be mostly cloudy, but in the north it may be temporarily thinner, the cloud cover may break for a short time. The contiguous area of ​​precipitation leaves the country to the south, however, in the afternoon it rains again in the western provinces; it may rain. The wind can intensify, especially in Transdanubia. There will be an additional 2 to 7 degrees during the cooler hours and an additional 3 to 8 degrees during the day.

On SaturdayOn the second day of Christmas morning, in the morning at noon there may be more clouds, and then there will be sunny weather with cumulus clouds. Several cumulus clouds can form on the Tisza line and there may be occasional snow storms. The wind will be strong in a large area, it will be stormy in some places in Transdanubia, and then the movement of the air will decrease significantly at night. The minimum temperature is usually between minus 4 and plus 2 degrees, but in some cases it can be colder. Daytime highs range from plus 1 to 5 degrees.

Sunday In the west the sun can shine even for several hours, elsewhere you can expect mostly cloudy or cloudy weather. From the south, from the southeast, there is increasing probable snowfall, light snowfall (with the least probability in the western part of Transdanubia) and snowfall in Transylvania. The lowest temperature is likely to be between minus 10 and minus 3, and the highest temperature is between minus 1 and plus 4 degrees, the forecast reads.

In Wednesday’s video published on the website of the National Meteorological Service, meteorologist Balázs Fehér already indicated that the air will warm up again next week. It can be 10 degrees more during the day and the morning frosts disappear.
