The red water flowed into the Bácskai Grand Canal near Szenttamás, reported the Szabad Magyar Szó portal.
Photos of this were first posted on Facebook by Dragan Kurjački, head of the Szenttamás Ecological Society (Ekološki Pokret Srbobran).
The images show that a red liquid flows into the Grand Canal of Bácskai through a pipe.
Activists say the sewage comes from a nearby seed growing and trading plant.
The Ecological Movement infers from the red color that the fungicides used to protect the seeds may have been discharged into the sewer.
The movement’s leader, Dragan Kurjački, also reported that the case was reported to both the mayor’s office and the municipal environmental inspection. Although the mayor assured them of his support, the environmental inspection responded that they had no authority to act on the matter and asked them to go to the provincial inspection.
We will strive to ensure that polluters do not swim unpunished and that all of our responses remain prompt and effective in the future.
He is stressed Dragan Chicken.
The case has not yet been reported by the company in question, but a person who worked there before said that the red material used for clothing stains the water red, which is in fact a poison.
