By Monday morning, 2,141 new Hungarian citizens had been diagnosed with the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19), according to koronavirus.gov.hu. This represents 826 fewer new cases with 15,451 samples compared to yesterday’s data.
This increased the number of infected people identified in Hungary to 305,130.
Most of the 183 deaths were chronically elderly patients, bringing the number of deaths to 8,282.
By Monday morning, the number of people recovered had risen by 5,519 to 102,962, so there are currently 193,886 active infections recorded. Eighteen percent of the actively infected, 20 percent of the dead and 22 percent of those recovered were in Budapest.
The number of people treated at the hospital has dropped by 75 since yesterday, so they are now treating 7,097 coronaviruses. 517 of them are connected to fans. The latter has become three fewer people since Sunday morning.
