The line was started by the Netherlands, followed by Belgium and Austria, which also decided not to allow UK passenger planes. They were followed until Sunday afternoon by Italy, Germany, France, Ireland, Romania, Bulgaria, Kuwait, El Salvador.

The Netherlands will not accept flights from British territory until at least December 31, Belgium will only introduce a 24-hour ban, starting at midnight on Sunday, but it has also stopped rail traffic on British routes. German airports will not be able to receive flights from Great Britain and Northern Ireland after midnight on Sunday. At the moment, the provision is valid until December 31.

France has only introduced a 48-hour entry ban, which runs from midnight on Sunday, but applies to anyone coming from the UK, whether by plane, ferry or train.

Ireland also restricts arrivals by air, sea and land from the UK and is also limited to two days at the moment. It will decide on Tuesday whether to extend it.

Romania will not receive aircraft from the UK for two weeks starting at 7pm on Monday, and the UK will be added to the list of countries at risk of the epidemic from midnight on Sunday, so those arriving from here they will have to be quarantined for two weeks.

Neither Kuwait nor Salvador accept flights from the UK. Sweden will decide on travel restrictions in the UK on Monday. Greece continues to allow passenger planes arriving from British land to land at its airports, but has extended the mandatory quarantine for those arriving from Britain from three days to a week.

The Czech Republic hasn’t stopped UK air traffic either, but has already tightened its quarantine rules for those coming from there. The Spanish government has asked the European Commission for guidance.
