So far, the message sent by the Government Information Center to those who have accepted it is not very specific.

Coronavirus: the second wave, the second closure

Later than expected by many, but in mid-November, the Hungarian government also decided to try to curb the second wave of the coronavirus epidemic by introducing restrictions. At the time of the decision, 5,000 new infections had been identified per day and the number of deaths from the virus was mostly between 50 and 100 in 24 hours. The first step is a partial closure, but how effective it is is questionable. Follow our news!

The Government Information Center sent its first email to those who indicated their need for a Covid vaccine on the page created for this purpose. At the moment, it seems that not everyone has received such a message, but except for an initial period, it was not mandatory to indicate the need to keep in touch, so it may depend on who received and who did not receive a letter.

In the message, the CSF appreciated the registration and again described that the vaccines are administered according to a vaccination plan and so far 17.5 million doses of vaccine have been linked with foreign manufacturers.

Mass vaccinations can begin when a vaccine that has been approved by the authorities is already available

– is in the text.

They will then be informed of the authorization procedure. “The authorization of vaccines is subject to the same legislation as any other medicine for human use. The authorities act on the basis of an international protocol. The vaccines are authorized by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the National Institute of Pharmacy and Food Health (OGYÉI) ”, adding that the pharmaceutical authority“ also examines the suitability, efficacy, safety, quality and place of manufacture of the vaccine ”.

It is not yet clear if the registration page has any purpose beyond information. First, Antal Rogán spoke of vaccinating those who register before, but he did not go into details either.

This week, Secretary of State Csaba Dömötör announced that since the beginning, just over 200,000 people have registered on the site, from where, if we mark the need to keep in touch, our data was sent to the Prime Minister’s Office that Antal Rogán leads.
