For months, the European Commission has been asking to reveal how much it buys the vaccine from the six manufacturing companies it has contracted with. Although the board has so far denied the request, citing trade confidentiality agreements, Belgian budget minister Eva De Bleeker accidentally revealed in a tweet Thursday which vaccine from the manufacturer is being purchased at what unit price, Politico reported.
According to him, the European Union

- EUR 12 to BioNTech / Pfizer (converted to EUR about 4283 florins),
- CureVac EUR 10 (converted to about 3568 HUF),
- and for Modern, $ 18 (converted to about 5245 florins)
pay per serving. Meanwhile, the Russians promise that a dose of their vaccine, Sputnik V, will cost less than $ 10.
Belgium itself wants to buy more than 30 million doses of vaccine for a total of 279 million euros.
