According to British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, it is very likely that no agreement will be reached in the negotiations on the terms of the future relationship between the United Kingdom and the European Union.

Boris Johnson, writes MTI, spoke by phone with the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, on Thursday evening. According to a Downing Street spokesman, the British Prime Minister stressed during the meeting that the negotiating process was in a very difficult situation, with very little time, and now it seems likely that no agreement will be reached unless the European Union changes significantly.

A spokesman for the Prime Minister’s Office in London also said Boris Johnson said that if no deal was reached, the UK and the European Union would become friends as friends and bilateral trade would continue under Australian-style conditionality.
