Health workers will be able to get vaccinated against the coronavirus later this year, Ágnes Galgóczi said at the press conference of the operational staff on Thursday. The youngest victim of the coronavirus yesterday was a 34-year-old man, whose underlying illnesses included pneumonia, hypertension, sepsis, heart disease and anemia.

The head of the NNK department continued to demand that everyone follow epidemiological rules, avoid crowded institutions, wear a mask and pay attention to disinfection.

There is more and more hopeful news about vaccines. The decision to approve the Pfizer vaccine could be made next week. We are preparing for the vaccination of healthcare workers to start in December

The NNK specialist then returned to the epidemiological data and detailed that more than 29,000 infections were recorded in week 50. 23 percent of the patients are between 40 and 49 years old, 17 percent are over 65 years old and 4 and a half percent are children under 14 years of age. He said the virus is present in 96 percent of settlements. The average age of the deceased is 75 years.

Answering questions from journalists, Ágnes Galgóczi said:
