Defending champion Peter Wright already played a game in the PDC World Cup on opening day. The player, also famous for his flamboyant appearance, was exposed again,

Dressed in green, he danced on stage

with which the small audience and his opponent, Steve West, also gained recognition.

As for the match itself, the clash of the three winning sets did not seem to last long,

Wright served the first two without a problem with an average of more than 100.

In the third, however, he was unexpectedly stopped, which his opponent took advantage of and, although the Scottish defending champion once came off 144, West won the set.

But it seemed like a momentary sway

Wright started the fourth set right away,

in the second leg he had three arrows to no avail to get out of 24, blew them all, and West took his exit backwards.

However, the English were no longer happy, Wright did not tolerate the contradiction and was wearing the next two leggings and thus 3-1.

Results:

Peter Wright – Steve West 3–1

previously:

Steve Beaton –Diogo Portela 0 -3
