According to unconfirmed news, one of the richest Hungarians has been arrested.

László Bige, one of the wealthiest people in the country, was detained on suspicion of economic crimes, Telex learned. The portal knows that a search of the house was also carried out during a raid.

The National Police Headquarters and the Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County Police Headquarters have not yet confirmed the information from Telex.

At the Szolnok chemical plant, owned by László Bige, it was claimed in autumn that the police withdrew 17 times in two years. Last year, the factory was suspended and Bigé was detained for two days. Since then, the court has ruled that disaster relief has illegally shut down the plant.

Bige later said that two of her friends told her she was free to leave the country, but that if she didn’t, she would go to jail.
