The concentration of hereditary coronavirus material in sewage is increasing in Eger based on data from week 49, the National Center for Public Health said. (The center has not addressed this now, but if the concentration of Covid in the wastewater increases, the number of infected people in the given settlement is expected to increase within a few days.)

In addition to the municipal seat of Heves, the concentration of coronavirus measured in wastewater is also above average in Szombathely and Békéscsaba. The studies carried out show that in Nyíregyháza, Salgótarján and Székesfehérvár a decreasing trend was measured, while in the other settlements examined a stagnant trend was measured in the amount of coronavirus hereditary material.

Based on the results, the National Center for Public Health believes that the rate of spread of the epidemic is slowing down, while the coronavirus is present throughout the country.

The center drew attention to the fact that compliance with epidemiological norms is still important to maintain the favorable trend, especially during the Christmas period.
