Cheated on Juventus, he is being investigated by the Italian prosecution

According to Italian Attorney General Raffaele Cantone, the Juventus soccer team also assisted Luis Suárez in his September language test, in connection with which university officials were suspended.

The language test is necessary to naturalize the Uruguayan player -his wife is of Italian descent-, which is of interest to Juventus because it wants to hire the attacker, who therefore would not be considered outside the European Union and would not increase the allowed quota.

In September, Luis Suárez successfully passed the exam at a university in Perugia, but soon after, the Italian press had already raised suspicions that he had received preferential treatment. After the test, the examiner stated that Suárez had obtained the intermediate grade B1 required for citizenship in 15 minutes, since he had only passed the oral part of the exam.

Cantone said the language test test content was sent to Luis Suarez in advance, while his test result and score were also determined in advance to satisfy Juventus’ wishes. He added that the whole of Turin has taken measures even at the highest institutional levels to accelerate the issue of Suárez’s citizenship.

The prosecutor stressed that the possibility that non-university people commit a crime in the case is also being investigated.

Juventus has yet to comment on the news, while the university, where four officials are suspended for eight months, has denied the breach.

Luis Suárez, 33, left Barcelona after six years in the summer and then signed for Atlético de Madrid until the summer of 2022, while Juventus borrowed 28-year-old Atlético Álvaro Morata as center forward for one year. .
