There are things in life for which it is very difficult to find an explanation, but that is exactly the reason why they are considered interesting, since everyone wants to know the secret. Recently, the news of the metal column that caused exactly this reaction from the people began to spread like wildfire on the Internet.
In southeastern Utah, above a massive rocky desert, helicopter animal counters surveyed the landscape as they spotted something unexpected in the middle of nowhere. As they got closer, they saw that it was a 3.6 meter monolithic metal object, but to this day, no one knows what it was for.
The mystery only intensifies
When the Utah State Aviation Safety Agency released an image of the object, they did not directly share precise details about it, fearing that many would try to locate it and possibly get lost in the vast desert. However, there are no secrets in the internet world, a Reddit user used the public path of animal counters and Google Earth to find out where the object could be, and then shared its coordinates with the public. The man was attacked by many who explained that if he had not shared the information, he would have said otherwise.
However, their research also shed light on another interesting thing: Google satellite images still didn’t show the metal column in 2015, but it’s already there in the 2016 image, so it must have been in the desert for 4- 5 years when found. Most guessed some kind of art installation in the background, yet I still don’t know exactly what it really is.
The monolith unexpectedly disappeared last Friday, the authorities are investigating the matter and have confirmed that official bodies have nothing to do with its removal, so it is no longer just a secret of what it really is, but where it could have gone and who took it. Surprisingly, a metal pillar that looks eerily similar to Utah was recently discovered in Romania. In the northeast of the country, along with the Christmas Stone, the object was found in a Dacian archaeological site called Batca Doamnei. Like the American, nothing can be known about the Romanian monolith, so speculation about the mysterious columns remains.
