In the last 7 days, an average of 5,599 new infections per day have been recorded in Hungary, fortunately the current number of 3951 cases is significantly lower, but we cannot speak of a downward trend at the moment.
The number of deaths has averaged 138 per day for the past week, a clear upward trend so far, and the current 154 deaths only reinforce this. This is the second highest death toll since Sunday 156.
The number of cured people is constantly increasing, currently 64,802 people, the number of actively infected people is 151,294 people. 7,884 coronavirus patients are hospitalized, 662 of whom are on ventilators. The number of people in the hospital and on the ventilator doubled in one month. It is not yet a decline, we can only speak of a slowdown in growth.
