Cecília Müller told public media on Sunday that aimlessly walking through shopping malls is dangerous, so Whoever can, shop online and still buy gifts in person, find out what you want at hometo consciously arrange the purchase in the shortest possible time.

The national medical director also considers it important that people should start buying on time until there are no people.

He said there had been more new infections than ever on Saturday, with 156 deaths. For this reason, it is extremely important to take care of family members who are at risk, for example, following hygiene rules, it attracted attention. He stressed that young people are not an exception to this, since they have also died from the coronavirus in the previous days, and must be cared for.

Cecília Müller continues to urge everyone to avoid clusters and help the health system to bear the current extreme burden by disciplining compliance with the rules.

The government purchased ventilators in the spring, the drugs are coming into the country, and the medical staff are excellent, so no one should be afraid if they have to go to the hospital – the hospital provides the highest level of care for everyone, there are specialists, medicines, ventilators, intervention options that can be used quickly if necessary – he stated.

He also spoke about:

the dynamics of the epidemic show that similar infection data is still expected in the coming weeks.

What Christmas will look like this year depends on the discipline of the people, he said.

The national medical director recalled: Registration begins next week, residents can indicate their need for the vaccine. This is to help them better identify vaccination sites and calculate their expected burden, he said. He added that the exact form of registration will be released early next week, but it is expected that in addition to online registration, it will be possible to apply by phone or even in writing.

Cecília Müller also mentioned that one of the important tasks of public health is to inform people about vaccination as widely as possible, so that everyone can decide if they want to be vaccinated.

In Hungary, vaccines are widely trusted by the general public, and this trust should not be reversed in any way, so the effectiveness and safety of the coronavirus vaccine should be guaranteed, he stressed.

He announced that a Hungarian delegation made up of virologists, researchers, vaccine manufacturers and doctors, among others, is expected to depart for Russia on Tuesday to learn about the Russian vaccine. Members of the delegation will receive answers to all questions and, if the vaccine is really effective and safe, it will be made available to Hungarians, he said.

He added that the Russian vaccine is the most widely available nearby, but other vaccines are also rumored to be nearing the end of the licensing process.
