Due to the fraudulent purchase of the metro, István Tarlós would not receive an honorary citizenship of Budapest, but a prison sentence.

Furthermore, he put it this way: “The Budapest city administration has been blatantly misled into buying the metro, even if the current report considers the public procurement procedure legitimate.”

Asked by atv.hu, Tarlós said:

As for the essence of Hadházy’s statement now, the specific question, I do not understand why the CEO of BKV, who is the exact acquaintance of the case, is not asked and why Hadházy is quoted.

Regarding the independent representative’s allegations, he said that Hadházy had wrongly accused him of a crime in a specific case. “This goes beyond the limits of expression even in the most liberal view. This is specifically defamation, ”he stated. Tarlós stated that “naturally” he informs Hadházy.
