Geza bodolay The director of the Institute of Theater Arts of the University of Theater and Cinematographic Arts has already signed a contract for one year, that is, he will be responsible for the theatrical formations of the university next year, reports HVG. Bodolay replaces László Bagossy, appointed in 2018, in this position, which he would still have held until 2021, but who resigned on August 31 of this year due to the new board of trustees of the university and the limitation of his autonomy.
Géza Bodolay himself is a two-time student at SZFE: he also graduated as a theater director and obtained a doctorate from university, he was director-in-chief at the Szeged National Theater for years, at Kecskemét, in Szeged, and last year at the Museum and National Institute of History of the PIM Theater. Director of Photography Balázs Sára, who was appointed by the new Board of Trustees to direct the SZFE Institute of Film and Media, is incorporated into the new SZFE staff. The newspaper asked Gazol Bodolay what his plans were to resolve the anger and protests around SZFE, based on his response.
