According to the Defense Minister, extremely strict precautions were taken both in the case of the Hungarian Armed Forces and soldiers in the foreign service. There are shifts, but before the change, they are reviewed, then quarantined before leaving, they are tested again, Defense Minister Tibor Benkő detailed on the channel.
A week ago, a soldier was infected in Kosovo, his condition deteriorated, he was immediately repatriated by plane and since then he has been treated at the Military Hospital, his condition is now stable.
Hospitals receive help from 1,100 soldiers a day to fight the coronavirus epidemic, this is the first step, that is why many soldiers have been asked, if hospitals need even more help, we can provide additional soldiers, said the minister.
Starting Monday, the military will also provide security and protection to various institutions: they will also protect foreign missions of different nationalities and government buildings.
