The epidemic has 96 new deaths and 4,440 people have been infected with the coronavirus in the last 24 hours. The hospital serves 7,512 people.
Across Europe, in neighboring countries and in Hungary, the number of infected people is increasing and more and more people are seeking hospital care. The epidemic cannot be stopped, the goal is to stop the epidemic and protect the performance of hospitals. This is also the purpose of the new announced emergency protection measures.
The police strictly monitor compliance with the rules, impose fines and close places where regulations are not followed. Soldiers support the work of police officers in various cities across the country and are involved in monitoring compliance with restrictions and curfews, as well as maintaining public order and public safety.
To ease the burden of health care, university students are also expected to participate in medical and health training. They are informed in a letter by the Ministry of Innovation and Technology that they can participate in nationwide rapid tests and hospital care activities for teachers and nurses as part of a two-week paid internship organized by government offices starting Monday. The protection of elderly and chronic patients is of the utmost importance. The elderly are also asked to pay more attention to themselves and general precautions. Visiting hospitals and nursing homes is prohibited. And nursing home owners should do everything they can to prevent infection. If a focal point takes place in a social institution or in any other community, the epidemiological deployment unit will take the necessary actions.
In addition to maintaining health protection, the government is working on additional economic and family protection measures.
