British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is re-quarantined after coming into contact with a person whose coronavirus test was positive.
The UK National Health Service’s contact investigation system has informed the Prime Minister that they have been in contact with an infected person.
The Prime Minister was informed today by the NHS Test and Trace that he had to quarantine him because he had met a man whose coronavirus test was positive
A spokesman for the prime minister said Sunday. He added that the Prime Minister will follow the rules and continue to work from Downing Street.
Prime Minister is fine and has no symptoms of COVID-19
The spokesperson added.
Boris Johnson met some MPs at his residence at 10 Downing Street in London on Thursday morning. Among them was Lee Anderson, whose coronavirus test later came back positive.
