In many settlements, the concentration of hereditary coronavirus material in sewage is increasing – of which the National Center for Public Health (NNK) at koronavirus.gov.hu on Friday.
On the government side, it was highlighted that although the concentration of the virus has stagnated in several municipalities during the last week, the results confirm that “the spread of the epidemic is continuous, with a significant number of symptomatic and asymptomatic infections throughout the country”.
According to data from week 45 In Kaposvár, Kecskemét, Miskolc, Nyíregyháza, Salgótarján, Székesfehérvár and Szolnok increased concentrations of hereditary coronavirus material in wastewater.
In almost all the settlements examined, significant amounts of moderate or high concentrations of coronavirus were detected in the wastewater.
The NNK noted that “the role of individual responsibility continues to be emphasized in risk reduction.” Anyone with symptoms should not go into the community but stay home and notify their GP by phone.
