The Democratic Coalition (DK), Jobbik, MSZP and Dialogue announced on Thursday that they will not attend the meetings of the parliamentary commission as they say László Kövér the Speaker of the House became unworthy to lead the board.

In a joint statement sent to the MTI by the four opposition parties, László Kövér “started a terrible verbal streak in recent days.”

The parties stressed that the president had offended “millions of people, not the majority of Fidesz in Hungary” when he spoke of a “coalition” of opposition coalition.

We, the opposition coalition parties, are more determined to insist that our members, supporters and voters, who are visibly on the brink of total collapse, be insulted by such and similar signals.
