The new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) was detected in 5,162 new Hungarian citizens, thus increasing the number of infected people identified in Hungary to 114,778, reported koronavirus.gov.hu.
Most of the 55 deaths were chronic elderly patients, so the number of deaths rose to 2,493 and 26,161 had already recovered. The number of active infections is 86,134. 6,061 coronavirus patients are being hospitalized, 415 of whom are on ventilators. The number of new infections increased the most on November 7, when more than 5,300 new patients were diagnosed.
The Operational Tribe currently ordered extraordinary breaks in 86 kindergartens and 11 schools, as well as digital schedules in 134 classes and 17 schools. There is a night curfew restriction. Between midnight and 5 am, everyone must be at their place of residence, stay or accommodation. Exceptions are if someone leaves their place of residence to work, transportation to the workplace, transportation from the workplace to their place of residence, place of residence or accommodation, or in case of health hazard, danger for life or serious damage and protection of life.
To reduce the spread of the epidemic, free parking has been reintroduced and a company providing local public transport services in Budapest and the county towns is required to draw up a traffic consolidation plan between 7:00 and 9:00 and between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. periods.
