Public television has yet to recognize Democratic candidate Joe Biden as the winner of the US presidential election. Although the M1 situation was covered on the M1 morning news, no winner was announced, despite leaders from much of the developed world already congratulating President Biden on his election.
Although the majority of the EU and the rest of the leaders of the V4 countries congratulated, Viktor Orbán is waiting for the moment. Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic is doing the same, but has already indicated that although he would have liked Trump’s victory more, this Monday he will send his congratulations to Biden.
The public media certainly won’t announce a winner, citing the fact that Donald Trump has yet to acknowledge his defeat and votes are expected to be counted in some places. (Telex)
