A man sentenced to two and a half years in prison for storing and delivering child pornography was sentenced by the Budapest District Court on Friday, MTI writes.
According to the verdict, the man realized in 2013 that he was sexually attracted to children, and has since registered on websites where he could download videos and images of child pornography and then exchange that content with people with “similar interests.” .
He also presented child pornography videos to these people in the video chat and also tried to involve minors under the age of 18 in sexual activities.
In a public place, he repeatedly followed girls under the age of 18, of whom he took photos and videos.
Police seized more than 100,000 child pornography images from home searches with the man. Due to his actions, the Szigetszentmiklós District Court found the man guilty in June last year and sentenced him to 2 years 6 months in prison and 3 years of public order.
The verdict was appealed, but the appeals court upheld the lower court ruling on Friday, slightly changing the classification of the verdict.
