The Italian club has said that it will re-examine the footballer’s right leg, where he was diagnosed with a muscle injury in ten days.

So Ramsey will not be there next Thursday in the run-up to the Americans and then the Nations League fixtures against the Irish and the Finns.

Meanwhile, Gareth Bale returned to the island team after being unable to play in October due to a minor knee injury.

The Wales national team will be led by assistant coach Robert Page in subsequent matches after federal captain Ryan Giggset is suspected of domestic violence.
