Due to preparatory work for the renovation of the bike share system, the MOL Bubi system will be temporarily closed at the end of November. Users will no longer be able to purchase a new product on the system, however, until November 29, 2020, they will still be able to use apple green bikes. BKK compensates all customers who have a valid MOL Bubi season ticket but are no longer able to make full use of their existing season ticket due to the closure.

In 2021, the Budapest Transport Center awaits its customers with a new community bicycle service that meets the changing needs of urban transport. The old MOL Bubi bikes can be used until midnight on November 29, 2020.

Goodbye to the so far known Mol Bubi rental bikes

MOL Bubi’s operating contract expires in November. Fewer bikes of different systems will be available, but their launch will also take time.

From this moment on, it is not possible to collect and return bicycles at the collection points.

Regular users of MOL Bubi have so far been able to exchange quarterly, semi-annual, annual and monthly passes of 100 HUF. BKK will refund the price of 100 HUF passes purchased after October 28, 2020 in full and will of course provide fast and customer friendly compensation for those with quarterly, semi-annual and annual passes whose pass is valid after the closing of November 29. would expire.

Subsequently, the BKK will provide information on the exact method of compensation.
