From pole position, Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas could wait for the start, who marked the 15th start of his F1 career in Saturday’s time trial. On lap 18, Kvyat tried to overtake Albon at Turn 2, but the Thai driver did not leave and “closed the door”. The two cars came together fortunately, however, it did not turn into a major collision.
