In an optimistic statement, the Szabolcs institution confirms that general practitioners treat patients with Covid. After an initial little scare, everything is fine.

Coronavirus – the second wave

Half a year after the spring outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, the second wave of the pandemic has arrived. The radical increase in the number of infected is forcing more and more countries to re-impose restrictions, despite the fact that the world economy has not even recovered from the effects of the spring outbreak. According to the signs, the second wave also reached Hungary. Follow our news!

The task is seen as a challenge, as part of professional cooperation, by general practitioners who have been referred to the intensive care unit for the care of patients with coronavirus, announces the announcement of the András Jósa de Nyíregyháza Teaching Hospital. Telex noted the statement.

The text shows that 337 beds are used for the treatment of patients with moderate to severe Covid, and 42 intensive beds are maintained instead of the previous 22. Staff in the intensive care unit are subjected to a triple burden, three of whom have been transferred there.

They said they “started to work without objection.”

They are ordered without selection

In addition, 60 physicians regrouped, including additional surgeons and internists and general practitioners. It is they who, after the initial shock, already see the new task as a challenge.

Earlier, news had come to light that GPs had been admitted to the hospital in question due to a depressing staff shortage, within 24 hours, regardless of age and chronic illness. At the time, the hospital did not confirm his belief in the press, and the current announcement was apparently made in response.

The general director of András Jósa Hospital, Gusztáv Adorján, passed away on October 21 from a coronavirus infection. The announcement will be made by Zita Szondi, the new director.
