The Hungarian Medical Chamber (MOK) evaluated the rejection of the provisions of the Law on the legal relationship of health services. The responses revealed that 77 percent of the doctors would not sign the new relationship and 40 percent would even leave outpatient care because of it.

The opinion of the Ministry of Human Resources (Emmi) is ATV News asked about the survey. In response, the ministry wrote about the current “biggest medical pay increase of all time.” After that, the news cited, they explained:

The uncertainty of a part of the medical community is due to the fact that the opposition and some media have deliberately misinterpreted the law.

Emmi promises that, as during the preparation of the law, the MOK will be consulted during the elaboration of the details. They are not afraid that the doctors will leave the field en masse.
