Cancels the decree of the Budapest municipality on the use of masks in Budapest on Wednesday – confirmed the IndexMajor Gergely Christmas.

As it turned out, the more lenient decree on the use of masks of the Metropolitan Municipality has been in conflict with the current government decree, which regulates it more strictly, since September.

The municipal ordinance stipulates that the face must be totally and continuously covered with a scarf, shawl or any other suitable device to catch the exhaled drops. The government, for its part, stipulates that “except for a child under the age of six, everyone must (…) wear a medical mask, a safety mask or a mask made of cloth or other material in a way that permanently covers the nose and mouth”. .
