Those who thought that Krisztián Berki was tired of his political career after failing in the mayoral elections were wrong. The businessman will report on his plans on the ATV show tonight, and it turns out that he is preparing for nothing less than to enter parliament, according to an ATV article.
Krisztián Berki wants to form a party and would also present his own candidate in the 106 electoral districts during the 2022 elections. He is confident that he will gather approximately 270,000 votes to win a seat in parliament.
The presenter, Gábor Bochkor, asked him if he was doing everything just for the state subsidy of HUF 150 million to parties, to which Krisztián Berki did not give a clear answer, only saying, “now there is a little more.”
As for the spirituality of his party, he says there is neither right nor left, only honesty.
This is not Krisztián Berki’s first attempt at great politics. He also ran for mayor in the 2019 municipal elections, obtaining 4,045 votes, 0.58 percent of the votes, behind the winner Gergely Karácsony, István Tarlós second and Róbert Puzsér third.
