Momentum MEP wrote a letter to István Szálku, the dreamer of a luxury mansion called Le Til, built in Biri, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county, with 35 million HUF in support from the EU, son of the local mayor of Fidesz . Katalin Cseh says she wants to organize an event at the mansion. The workshop envisages addressing the efficient and non-corrupt spending of EU funds or focusing on seizing opportunities for disadvantaged groups.
The Index also recently wrote that the mansion earned 35 million guilders in EU funding for the construction of a youth hostel, compared to one that serves as a wedding and luxury party venue for the top ten thousand.
Katalin Cseh asked the mansion to send her a quote and free dates. The politician turns to the competent body of the European Commission to initiate an on-site inspection and find out what and how the funds were used.
