Biden claims he did nothing, “not a single thing out of line,” for his son’s career.

According to Trump, in 2014, even as vice president of the United States, then-Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko threatened to remove the then Ukrainian president, if not his son, Hunter Bident, as a board member of the Ukrainian gas company Burisma Holdings. Hunter Biden also served from 2014 to 2019, and Trump said that Biden, as vice president, lobbied the Ukrainians to replace Attorney General Viktor Sokin, who is investigating Burisma Holdings. The latter happened in 2016, the Kiev parliament replaced the attorney general, who was deemed corrupt, but there is no evidence that Biden pressured him to protect his son, or that the Ukrainians have investigated his son’s affairs.

Trump now recalls that Biden’s son is suspected of receiving $ 183,000 as a member of Burisma’s board of directors, but no Republican Senate investigation found anything objectionable to the then vice president’s conduct.
