His three-year-old brother was also murdered on suspicion by a very young boy under the age of 14. He tossed it into the gutter and then put the lid on it. It wasn’t until hours later that the boy’s body was found. The brother was arrested today, a year and a half after the murder.
The young man lived with his family in a town near Szerencs. The boy was very jealous of his three-year-old brother, with whom they were half siblings. They played in the backyard of their house last April and their cousin was also with them.
While playing, the boy removed the sewer cover, grabbed his brother’s hands and feet, and
threw the child there. Then, without telling anyone, he sealed the lid of the digestion well and entered the apartment.
The boy’s body was found several hours later, he drowned.
The young man was prosecuted with extreme cruelty for the murder of a defenseless person under the age of fourteen.
The child himself has not reached the age of 14, so he can get a maximum of four years.
Because he had previously run away from home, the prosecution said he should be afraid to do so at other times, and also believed that he would influence witnesses if he was released, jeopardizing evidence or committing another crime.
The court also agreed with this and ordered the boy’s arrest for a month.
