Dutch information security expert Victor Gevers recently re-hacked the US President’s Twitter account. The man had access to the president’s personal messages, was able to post tweets, and was able to edit his own Twitter profile after trying “himself 2020!” password: read the Guardian article.

Gevers had previously hacked into Donald Trump’s account in 2016. Now, the expert opted for a manual “brute force” method: he tried different passwords until he found himself inside Trump’s account.

You didn’t have to try for long, the fifth password you tried was a success.

The “self2020!” In the password, the term “yourself” refers to the “Make America Great Again” campaign slogan, which Trump uses frequently.

Gevers told De Volkskrant that he hoped the system would ban it after a few failed attempts, but that was not the case. Gevers said that the fact that he was able to enter the account of the president of the United States so easily may have happened because the president did not apply basic security measures such as two-step identification.

Twitter denies the news and says they found no signs that the US president’s account was hacked.
