Originally this year, until the end of June, the employee had to pay only 15 percent personal income tax on amounts received on SZÉP cards, not the social contribution tax of 17.5 percent (the rate tax has now been reduced to 15.5 percent). This was subsequently postponed until the end of the year, and the current change will provide more favorable taxation for another half year.

The highest amount will also remain until this period, that is, 400 thousand HUF can be transferred to the accommodation subaccount of the SZÉP card, 265 thousand HUF to the hospitality “pocket” and 135 thousand HUF to leisure use as an additional benefit.

Under another amendment, the operational court has the authority to decide on the assignment of health workers to various counties. There is no room for immediate legal protection in an administrative lawsuit against the decision of the operating tribe. The court can uphold the decision or overturn it depending on the date of the judgment. The relevant law allows the assignment of health workers to another institution in the event of a health crisis.
