The fall holidays in schools, which start on Friday, may also be suitable for breaking the chains of coronavirus infection, the secretary of state for Public Education of the Ministry of Human Resources said on Wednesday in M1.
According to Zoltán Maruzsa, it is important that children spend the ten-day break with their families, not in group events and leisure programs.
The secretary of state added that the disinfectant cleaning will be carried out in all educational institutions during the fall break. Fifty-nine schools, where the coronavirus has not disappeared despite the extraordinary stoppage and the digital work schedule outside the classroom, also carry out aerosol disinfection with the deployment of the Armed Forces, said Zoltán Maruzsa.
The Secretary of State stressed that the preventive measures introduced in schools and kindergartens are successfully slowing the spread of the epidemic: according to the latest data, only 64 out of 3,000 kindergartens have extraordinary breaks, and this and the working hours Extracurricular digital affects only six percent of schools.
On Wednesday, a new coronavirus (Covid-19) infection was detected in 1,423 new Hungarian citizens, increasing the number of infected people in Hungary to 50,180. 48 died, mostly elderly, chronic patients, bringing the death toll to 1,259.
2,023 coronavirus patients are hospitalized, 201 of whom are hooked up to ventilators.
